Burton Clansman With a recommended cash rating of £3,000 the Clansman is a convenient and compact alternative to the large and heavy traditional freestanding safe with a similar cash rating. Where an underfloor safe is impractical the Clansman is a convenient alternative. The body and door are constructed from ).5mm solid steel plate. The locking mechanism comprises two moving bolts (16mm) driven by the 7 lever lock. The lock is protected by a drill resistant plate. A relocking device is incorporated to ensure that the bolts remain in position if the lock is attacked. There are two 16mm deadbolts on the opposite side from the moving bolts. Clansman has four base fixing holes and should be anchored to a concrete floor using expansion bolts or to a wooden suspended floor using the special Burton Joist Anchoring Kit.
